Artist Catalogue
For this project, I decided to design a catalogue covering the career and work of NYC based artist FUTURA 2000. He is a pioneer in the New York graffiti scene, and founder of Futura Laboratories. With the design of these spreads, I wanted to put the emphasis on his work, but also embody the voice of his work with the layout and grid.
I decided to cover Futura because of an unexpected encounter I had with the artist. He gave me such wisdom and inspiration in the short conversation we had, and I admired his humility despite his incredibly successful career.
